question about ESEE 1095

Is the 1095 that ESEE uses powdered form, or does that not exist in 1095? EDIT: Sorry in advance if this is a stupid question.

They have cheaper ones than that now like the Cat. I wasn't really wanting to try a powdered steel. Was just curious if the 1095 here was powdered. Silly question I suppose.

i think the 1095 is ingot or smelted, yeah the spyderco cat would be a nice entry level powder metal folder.
