Question about for sale section?

you have to sign up for a paid account in order to do sales and trades.. you can also only post your FSFT in your signature if you have a paid account. :)

If it is for trade ONLY, it needs to be listed in the Trade section. You can list it FSOT in the CRK sales section though.

Do I have to pay to post in that section?

It would be trade only. Basically one knife for another but the model I want cost a few dollars more so I would include money for difference.


I'm obviously not mentioning models here, just trying to understand.

The only portion of the Exchange you can post threads in as a registered user is the Wanted section. The Trade section requires at least a Basic level membership.
 
Buying a paid membership is up to you, but IMO the paid membership is to support the forum(this doesn't run for free), not just to sell stuff. When you get the paid membership you then get the added benefit of being able to sell stuff.
 
Reqd the Announcements and Sticky'd threads at the top of every section. The answers to most questions are there. This is currently at the top, just before the threads start:

This.

A paid membership will allow you to post your own trade or sales thread but you can still partake in the Exchange as a registered user. You may buy. You can also trade with members who have an existing sales (sometimes) or trade thread.

It costs about $0.83 a month to trade and $2.50 a month to sell. Not to shabby to be able try out new knives and unload the ones you don't want. There are some other perks as well.;) Either way stick around and enjoy.
