So I know I am going to order a 43 but I keep going back and forth on which one. First it was a rust red jig, then the orange camel, then the micarta but now Im thinking the frontier bone. My question is what seems to be the most common coloration of frontier bone? I have seen a lot of really great looking ones that fade from dark brown or black to the natural bone color. Then i have seen some that look like someone put a very light coat of brown shoe polish on them. I know its all dependent on how the bone takes the dying process, but what seem to show up more on their knives?

I agree with you that I have seen a wide variety of coloration in Frontier Bone. Even if there is one type that is more common, it will be luck of the draw as far as what you will receive (unless you can select from dealer stock). This is true for camel bone also.
