Question about gold membership

How long after you buy your gold membership can you expect it to become effective?
 
I think it took a couple of days for mine to kick in
but you might want to email Spark and ask him.
 
Cool, i'll wait a few days. If i don't hear anything i'll drop spark a line. Thanks.
