i have noticed on alot of OT's, that the handles can get dry looking. even after u oil them or clean them. what do u guys do to prevent/fix this?? i have a schrade walden with jigged handles, and there are dry spots in the jigged out spots themselves. i noticed on the OT's i see at the flea markets alot, that the handles look almost white, kinda chalky.

I have a few older OT that are like this. I always thought it was the handles getting bleached out from UV or something, cause it always seems to be only one side that is like that.
Someone else with more info on the OT line will probably know for sure, this is just my thought.
