Hi guys! i looked around and googled and didnt find much ... other than what i found in the faq about the "pockets are made in the handles and thin strips of wood are laid in"
but it was a bit vague.
I was wondering how the inlays were made or attached to the sebbie. I know there's a strong adhesive double sided tape, but do the handles get milled out in the shape of the inlays so that they can be inserted? is that the pocket that is referred? was it mentioned in the CRK studio tour on blade hq and i missed that info?
i do see a drilled hole in the handle, so thought maybe the wood has some sorta PEG on it to help with alignment. If what is said to be true: the handles are milled out with the shapes of the inlays and the inlays snap in, then damn, that's some tight tolerances cuz i see no gap between the inlay and the titanium.
if there's a faq or vid or if someone can point me ttowards the info that be great.
