Good morning all, I have a Busse TGLB on order and upon arrival I intend to strip the coating and square a small portion of the spine for striking a ferro rod. I have no doubt it will make sparks from a ferro rod but was curious as to whether or not INFI would spark from flint. Does anyone have any experience regarding this? I ask because generally only HC non stainless will spark from flint and INFI is not a very HC steel and it is moderately stain resistant. Thanks!

No experience with flint. However, you can clean up th choil and use that as a striking area. I've used the choil on my AMSMO & ferro. Works well. My ferro rod is the perfect fit for the small choil.

Have used ferro rods a bunch but no experience with flint. Honestly my flint and steel kit says Bic on it.
