Question about Junglas Laserna Pack

Received my Junglas Laserna pack a little over a week ago. Absolutely love it. This is the pack I've been searching for since I was a kid. Incredibly well made and makes the perfect BOB, GHB, etc.

One thing I've noticed is it seems the shoulder adjustment straps are just slightly wider than the quick release buckles, which tends to make it difficult to cinch the shoulder straps down when wearing the pack.

Do these tend to "loosen up" with use?


I'm in the middle of moving to a new house, but once settled I'll take some pics of the pack loaded up. For anyone on the fence considering purchasing one of these packs, do it, you won't regret it.
 
I don't know about that, but I recently used mine for the first time after having it for a few months, and I noticed that the hip belt doesn't go tight enough to take any weight. Am I just skinnier than I thought?

I don't own a Junglas pack, but I had to ditch the waist belt on my Eagle pack for the same reason...I coulden't get it tight enough.
