Question about kissing crane knife

I just picked up a black angus robt klass Germany knife with the 2 cranes, my question is there is no circle or other markings around the cranes. It's marked kc 43 and has the black plastic handles with steel liners. Is this a Chinese version.
 
Based on my limited experience, it sounds like it is.

Hopefully, someone else has the details as to how to know for sure.
