Hello knifeaholics. I am considering a large carbon fiber Inkosi. My question is, does the knife come with the other titanium slab in case you want to change it out down the road? Also, is the carbon fiber worth the extra cash? Thanks.

No..

Worth is an individual expression. To some, yes...others no.

Thanks, bhyde. I think I will stick with the titanium if I decide to go this route.

Are you sure about that ccoast? The CF is pretty sweet. Just sayin' :)

Seriously though, it doesn't perform any different but the surface does feel different in the hand. It boils down to whether you personally want a Ti or CF handle.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the carbon fiber. I just wish it came with the other slab to have the option of changing it up if so desired.

Kill two birds with one stone. BladeHQ has the CF inlays, best of both worlds. :)

While it might be nice to have a knife with 2 scales, it doesn't solve the question - only postpones it.
The knife would also be considerably more expensive.

IMHO if you are not sold to CF and like the full Ti there is no hesitations to have.... go for the full Ti
I have a large KA CF Inkosi and while I like it a lot , it confirmed me that I like the basic touch of the full Ti and my next purchase will be a large full Ti 21

I believe a plain Ti slab (non-lock) can be bought from CRK, so if you buy a KA CF version that is an option (if I'm not mistaken).
