question about knife shows

besides the SHOT show, what are the other big shows or expos where I could go and see knives being exhibited by manufactures?

are there any good shows that come to Erie, PA, Pittsburgh PA or Cleveland OH ?
 
I don't know of any on the east coast except Blade show which is in Atlanta. It seems most of them are on the West Coast. There are some knife shows in the general area, but none that I know of on the scope of the Shot Show.
 
SHOT require you to be an industry insider, they're not just open to the public.

However an "industry insider" can be someone as simple as counter person at a sporting good store.

A nice "regional" show is the Shenandoah Valley Knife Collectors show in Harrisonburg, Va the first weekend in
April. Dealers and exhibitors for the Mid-Atlantic area. Usually about 200 tables. Knives and knife related products only, no firearms.
 
Besides the Shot show and the Blade show in Atlanta, are there any other major show such as these? even if there not close, maybe I would be worth traveling to see one.
 
AG Russell has a big show in NW Arkansas each year. Only a one-day drive from Cleveland.

On the east coast there's ECCKS (East Coast Custom Knife Show), it's on the 28th. :)
 
It probably depends on your state. I'm in Michigan, and we have MIGunShows who put on Gun & Knife shows about once a month somewhere in our state. I also know that the NRA-published magazines list gun and knife shows by region - they may have the same info listed on their website.

What about Chi - Iowa - Indy? I've done a few searches and couldn't come up with much kinda gave up on it.
