Thinking about getting a Leafstorm. Any Pro's, Con's, or Advice would be much appreciated! Thanks and Happy Holidays to my knife Buddies out there on Bladeforum Land! :)

Great knife just a bit smaller, which is also what made it a great EDC. I would say buy. Bear in mind that it is not your typical spydercos, so don't choke it as you would do to other spydies.

I've had one for 8 months or so, I would buy it again. It doesn't see a whole lot of pocket time just because I own several other knives that I use for EDC more often. But The leafstorm is one of those knives that's fun to play with. The quality of work and attention to detail is great. It's very different from most spidies, and if your the kind of guy that has to have a finger choil you may want to look elsewhere. I have large hands and find it very comfortable though. Great knife for office carry, very sheeple friendly. The color and design of the knife seem to intrigue even non-knife folks. Mine was vault tight when new, it's recently developed the slightest side to side blade play, nothing major. Hope it helps.

Always liked mine but I am starting to think that Wilkens gave up a useful choil area to keep the handle symmetrical. I just think in a knife this small it needed something to hold onto. It is always waiting to bite you.

Its a very cool little knife. I didn't like it at first but it really growns on you. And the ergonomics, while unconventional, are very good for use. And you can get custom scales for it which makes it even cooler. I would get one. I recently purchased a leafstorm and a sage 2 and to my shock I liked the leafstorm so much that I put the sage 2 back on the market! I would go for it :)

Tighten that pivot and you'll be good to go.

I love mine. I did only pay $50 for it, so I guess no matter what I would see it as a bargain!

It's a stout modern gents knife. I wouldn't use it for big cutting tasks, but you could!

$50? No way! Did you buy it used with ton of scratches on it? Or 2nds?

I'm in the market for one as well. The only negative I've been able to peace together so far is that the edge being sharp up to the end makes it easy to cut yourself

I really like it. It is an interesting design. And for those who spend a lot of time in federal buildings, it meets the legal requirements for that environment.

I don't have mine anymore. I was really excited to see the knife be made and was quick to buy it. I love the design but it never saw pocket time and I could never get comfortable holding it.

Pro: It is small and People friendly.
Con: It is small and limit to certain tasks.
Overall excellent EDC.

My favorite "little" knife. I love seeing the Wilkins logo too, his custom Leafs sell for 600.00 euros.

Yeah, but who buys foreign made knives, anyway??? :foot: ;)

I've never seen one in a store. If I do, I would probably have to buy one...

Serious question, if anyone read this far. How is it from a left-handed perspective? I do fine with most RH framelocks and linerlocks, but you never know until you try it.

Unless Kevin Wilkins denounced his American citizenship, he is still an American right?;):D

I'm just playing, but that is indeed a valid point.

I was just poking some fun around, not even in your direction ;) - but would still love to hear from any lefty users of the Leafstorm.
