Question about Micro Halo III

For Valentine's day my girlfriend wanted to get me knife (lucky me again!) and since I am a big 24 fan . .she went with the halo III. I am really happy about this, but live in LA and I believe they are illegal to non-military or law enforcement.

If this is true than what would happen if I was caught with the knife on my person and what would be my best course of action?

Thanks for any suggestions.
 
defintely illegal to carry in l.a. and ca.

though not illegal to collect.

possession is a misdemeanor, but you will get booked, and your knife taken as evidence. possession on any school campus (colleges and universities included) will be booked as a felony.

generally they are not available to civilian personnel, however there is no specific exemption for law enforcement or military in the penal code.

my advice, admire and play with it at home. dont carry it out. too much risk.
