Question about Microtech serial number

Wondered how common it is for a Microtech UT6 to have a date and the claw logo on the front, but no serial? Anyone seen this before? It's 06/2004. Sorry no pics -- knife works well and looks really legit.

I don't know the date on your ut-6 but mine has the claw, the serial and the date on it. I believe mine is 2006 not sure as I sent it away for a sharpen.

IIRC i havent ever seen a MT with no serial #, claw or not,

Some were on blades, some were on clips, some were indeed sterile. I think they were (as usual) all over the place

The Microtech in this photo was no serial number but the ones made in 9/99 of the same model did. Where it says "USA" on the blade is now the home for the serials on SOCOMS
