I have a question about the steel use in the mini strider, specificly the 881SPX. I've looked at the Buck site at http://www.buckknives.com/technical_steel.php nut the ATS-34 isn't on there. Where does it fit in with the other steels and how does it compare to the others. Is it much better than the 420hc?

Also, any comments on this knife would be appreciated.

btw, I tried to search for info, but the search isn't working for me.

Thanks, Steve

...Hi DewChugr...In the site area where you read up on the steel characteristics, just look for CM154...it's the domestic version of ATS-34. Basically they are the same as to composition and characteristics...

Thanks for the info Darryl.

Anyone have comments on this, how easy is it to open with one hand?

Thanks again
