Well the thread title basically sums it up. I have a question for gun collectors about the Model 92 Krag Jorgenson. Specifically I'm wondering if anyone knows where to get a replacement wooden stock. My father has one of the originals sporterized by the NRA in the 1920's and recently dropped it.The stock broke at the "neck" where the buttstock joins the the receiver/bolt area. If anyone knows where to find a replacement at a decent price it's much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

BTW, the 'original' ones were made in Norway where they were designed. Later ones were ,with design changes, were made here. Most were American made.

Don't toss the current stock. A local gunsmith may be able to do a reliable, barely noticable repair. Unless you want a change, the old stock may have a little sentimental value.
Good luck, Craig
