Question about my Talwar

I have a coated Talwar that is marked on the side of the blade "CTS XHP. It is one of a few Cold Steel CTX XHP I have stored away as a keeper.

I also have another Talwar, pictures below, that is not marked as to the type of blade steel.

Could anyone with knowledge kindly offer thoughts as to what type of steel it may be? Thank you in advance.

That would have been my guess but while I am a CS fan, I am far from a learned aficionado.

For what it's worth, I have a bunch of AUS8 CS knives and they are certainly more than good enough for most of my EDC needs and sharpening abilities.
