So I have seen a billion awesome little fixed blades that you guys carry, and it seems that many of you term it a neck knife. To me, that would be a concealed carry. So the question is, if you don't mind answering, do you have a license to carry a concealed knife? Is it necessary in your location? If it is, and you do not, how do you carry these useful little tools?

most neck knifes are below minimum blade length. but do check your local knife laws for not only your state but your city as well( just in case they have some kind of crazy ordinance). I have also never heard of cc for a blade. Good luck.

p.s. florida also has a concealed weapons permit incase for some reason you do need a license.

Yes, my ccw in the state of florida allows for a knife to be carried concealed. Other states allow one to carry a fixed blade out of sight though, with length restrictions? Interesting.

Knives of neck knife size are generally far too small to warrant a CC permit. People just aren't scared of a knife that's 2 inches long and stuck under a shirt where it's not easy to draw in a fight. I think in my area you can carry just about anything reasonable concealed. Inside the Seattle city limits it's 3 inches max, but the state doesn't seem to have any law regarding CC length.

I saw a guy at Office Depot the other day with a CRKT Minimalist hanging from his neck outside his shirt. So I guess you don't HAVE to conceal it. I wouldn't want a knife hanging out like that in front of my chest, and it's a hassle to get the knife and put it back away when you carry it under the shirt (I tried once). I stick to pocket sheaths for fixed blades. The Minimalist fits quite well in the watch pocket of jeans.
