Question about New York(not city) carry.

Hey guys, I've recently come to the conclusion that carrying a folder for basic self defense(in a strictly get the hell off of me sense) is less convenient to me than a fixed blade. So I've been looking around and I am really considering getting myself a Spartan Blades CQB Tool. I plan on carrying it S.O.B. horizontal. My question is, will it be confiscated or may I be getting myself tickets if a LEO happens to see it? I know the blade is only sharpened a fraction of the way. But this could very well be insignificant. I would really appreciate any advice you all could throw my way. Trying to stay safe, but also legally sound. This would be for central New York by the way.

Read this. What I took from it was: No double edged knives, no autos, no balisongs; anything else, of any blade length, is fine. You might disagree, though. Read it yourself.
