Question about Nirvana action

I have been searching for a day or so and have found variation in the description of the action on a Nirvana. I would expect a knife on bearings to be pretty smooth but a few have described the action as "hydraulic" like a CRK. Should a Nirvana fall shut with the lock bar disengaged?

I am here searching for the same answer. Mine is pretty stiff. I was also wondering if there are alternative, or upgraded bearings that I could buy and install. can't find much on the Google for now though
