Question about posting thread with text and picture

Hello all,
I'm fairly new to posting pictures. I have noticed that If I write text then post the picture that many times my text is interrupted by the picture. I just now tried to post a picture and then write the text but with the picture there it didn't give me the opportunity to insert text. Is there a way around this? or is it something I am doing wrong?

I’m using an iPhone, never used the site on a computer.
When I use photos I upload them all then insert them in the reverse order I want them to appear, the first photo inserted will appear at the bottom of the post. Then I will insert text in between pics or wherever I want it to be.

The image will be inserted wherever the cursor is located, but sometimes the process of uploading a file resets the cursor to the start of the text box, so after I upload the files of the pics I want to add I move the cursor to where I want to insert the picture and then click the insert button.

For image links it's the same concept, where the cursor is is where the image will be inserted.

Since the image is treated like a text character, if you can manage you can drag the cursor to either side of the photo carefully you can add text after adding the photo, but it is not easy so it's easier to type first and add photos later.
