Question about Queen's D2 slipjoint line

While salivating over numerous posted pictures of the Queen D2 slipjoints, I've noticed that sometimes you'll see some sort of "Queen Cutlery Co." marking on the blade, and sometimes not. For example, take a look at the various knives here. What's the deal? Do ALL of these knives come with the marking (indicating, perhaps, that the logo-less knives in the photos were factory prototypes), or no? I'd really prefer one without the blade marking.

The only Queen knife I have is a model#11 with the smooth delrin handle and I can tell you that it doesn't have any etching on the blade. I can't vouch for the other handle or models.

I do not own any 2004 models, but most of my other ones do have the blade etching.

Perhaps they have changed recently, but all of the D2 line slipjoints that I have seen (total of 7) have had the blade etch. All of them were either cocobolo or CSB, not delrin.

I think that cocobolo & stag have etchings and shields, while the delrin models do not...just a guess.
