How I quote another member the same way everybody else does with the blue line
around the whole quote?
If I click on reply with a quote....no blue line around the entite quote....go advanced
doesn't seem to do anything either.

I emailed BF tech support...they couldn't help....PMed a couple of members same thing.

Everybody uses it. HELP

Just click the "Reply with Quote" button. The post being quoted will appear in the reply window with quote switches at both ends, although it doesn't show the blue box until it is actually posted. If you go advanced, you can use the "Preview Post" button to see what it will look like before you post it.

HI clockman -

You use quote tags, similar to image tags etc.

[quote=whomever_membername]The member's quote goes here.[/quote]

The above code, pasted into your reply, should look like the following -

whomever_membername said:
The member's quote goes here.

Try cutting and pasting that into your reply here.

best regards -

If this thread hadn't been in General I Would Not Haven't Gotten The Help I Got :D

No help in this forum at all. I already sent emails to tech support....No Help from them!

OK, you're smart. Let's put EVERYTHING in General. And see how fast it scrolls off the first page. Lots of people get help in Tech Support. What "email" did you send? To whom? Posting in a forum is not the same as emailing. Different "tech support".

Possibly because it doesn't belong in email? For pity's sake, if you bothered to read the FAQ or to experiment with the software at all...
