Hi,
i`m new on this forum and want to say hallo.

Love the one piece range and have a question about the sheath on my Shadow II. Purchased the sheath with the knife- seller hadn`t any info about the setup.
On the back of the sheath there is a stamp- from maker i guess. The strange writing on the back, is a love letter and has nothing to do with this sheath. Sheath fits like a glove.

Thanks :)

I have nothing of value to add but I do like that set up and the Shadow II is one of my favorites, a splendid example of a OP knife. :)

The dagger with crossed arrows is part of U.S. Special Forces insignia.. I am not sure what the letters and numbers represent.. unit or group designation? What does the "love letter" say exactly? Cant read it in the photo?
All the best, Dave

U:S Spesial Forces Insigna; here we do have a match. Like the one on the Al Mare SERE folder.

Spesial run- spesial order???

Love letter says:
Fra Anniken
Til Roar
..d kjrlighet

(Norwegian it is)
Translated it says:
From Anniken
To Roar
..d love

Did purchase the knife and sheath in Norway.

No one who can help with information about this strange sheath ?

Any help will be much appreciated :)

Other than the sheath not being original to the knife I can't add much. The stamp lettering and numbering is a bit odd but it could be a squad or unit code or something. The crossed arrows and dagger symbol is indeed used in the US so it looks like it may not have originated in Europe. I don't recognise the style of the sheath maker but it is rather distinctive so perhaps someone may.

Thank you for taking your time :)
