Question about relisting items or renewing listing

I've read through the rules but just want to make sure I'm doing this correctly. So if I have a listing with multiple items and some have sold, some have not. I want to relist this group some with price reductions after 14 days. Is there a way to edit the original post to reflect new pricing and inventory remaining (I know how to use the edit to mark items sold or whatever) that will ALSO move that thread back to the top of the list? Or do I need to create a new listing? If the option is to create a new listing what should I do with original post?

Thanks,
Alan

You can edit the existing thread, but it won't put it back to the top. Need a new listing for that. Can lock the previous one and just let it sink lower and lower over time.

That's what it seemed just wanted to make sure. And locking the thread is the piece of that I was missing. Thanks.
