Question about Remington Damascus&Pearl trapper.

I bought a damascus blade, pearl handled trapper a few years ago (4 or 5?)
It came in an interesting carved case that has an eagle carved or molded somehow on the top.
I know I paid, probably around $300 for it.
But I haven't seen ANY on eBay or anywhere else.
Could someone tell me why? Are they that rare or that collectible (I hope) that they haven't been for sale?
Any details would be very nice. Thanks.
 
They were a limited edition sold through Smokey Mountain Knife Works. I don't remember much more, you might try the Camillus forum, as they handle the Remington stuff.

I bought this from my local knife store????
Is SMKW a distributor? (I know they normally order from Blue Ridge, or at least used to)
 
I just wanted to mention that these are top quality knives. The pearl on it is gorgeous!
