Question about "Remington" marked knives

I've bought a number of Case knives at a local store in recent months. I didn't pay much attention until today, but there are a stack of Remington marked knives on a shelf in the display case, below the Case display. They aren't placed to sell, and difficult to see unless you are right above them.

Anyway, today I had someone pull out a few for me to look at. I didn't take notes, so I can't say what the exact models were.

One that I looked at was some a "Trail Hand" scout knife with a 1996 date on the tang. Another was a 1999 marked "Ranch Hand". Most seemed to have a bullet on the scales. There were a variety of types, all rather large. I definitely saw some "Trapper" looking models. The ones I had him take out were all marked made in the USA on the blades, and were dated. They seemed to be well made. Handles were mostly jigged, and of a brownish color.

My questions are, who made these? Are they collectable? How much do they go for? The were marked from $49-$69.

Thanks for any help.

Um, you could bargain the price down a little, if the store feels like horse trading. Maybe a couple dollars. Those Remingtons are from the 90's, made by Camillus. Repros of the Remingtons from the 30's. I had a couple, they weren't bad knives.

Thanks for the info. I've been surfing around a finding some good info, also. I may pick up the Ranch Hand. I doubt that the owned will deal. Usually, the owner isn't there, and the counter is left to whatever employee happens to be working that day.

silenthunterstudios is right, and since Camillus closed their doors these knives are getting more collectable now. The quality on my two here except for a slight crack on the trapper handle scale is outstanding not far from Queen quality, great walk and talk too!
