Question about reprofiling the tip on my xm-18

I have a spanto xm-18 that I've had for a couple of months now that I purchased off of here. But I am noticing that the tip isn't cutting very well, even after sharpening. It appears to me that the grind is just a little off. Would this fall under a warranty and be able to be reprofiled, or would someone recommend a way to get it reprofiled via other means???

I'd say send it in to Hinderer!

Posting in the Hinderer subforum may get you some more opinions or input from the guys at Hinderer themselves.

I'd send it in, no sense removing any more steel from your blade than is necessary, they will make it right........you can't put steel back!

Send that guy in for sure to have the guys work on your edge for you. Come back good as new.

I agree send that puppy in. I've done it before. Rick gets them crazy sharp. I could spend an hour on my wicked edge and not get it as sharp as he does.
