I need to make some non slippery rubber knife handles and need to know if there are any good forums on the web where molding, vulcanizing techniques of both natural and artificial rubber and other topics regarding this are discussed.

The rubber needs to be both durable and to have a good adhesive quality to harder mineral grains like aluminum oxide and silicone carbide because I need to fill the rubber with grains like these in order to make it non slippery.

If you're going to make scales for a full tang knife, the rubber mats that are used in horse stalls are extremely popular with custom makers. You might look in the maker section of BF and see if they have any other suggestions.
