Just picked up a used one this weekend. Having trouble finding much info about the 25 cal version. Do they still make it? any thoughts on the RWS 48 in .25 cal? Thanks in advance.

By memory, it has a lower velocity than the .22, a heavier pellet, and more expensive ammo.

Sorry, that's all I can remember.

Thanks Erasmus. It seems like there is alot of info on the .177 and the .22 but I haven't found anything on the .25 in this model. I am trying to find the cheapest source for .25 ammo for it.

Thank you both Blackhills and H2OCutter. I have been looking at the network 54 for the last couple days. Have not saw too much on .25 till you posted the motherload. I have checked out pyramid, I am still looking but I think arizonas website is cheaper...not sure on shipping though.

I'm still reading through 54. Anyone know if they still make the 48 in .25 cal? When did they start manufacturing the 48 in .25 cal? Any other info or suggestions?

I don't know about the RWS. I inherited a Colt in .25, which my mother carried in the 40s. Don't ask. I looked up info about the cartridge a number of years ago. The ammo is expensive and the ballistics not much better than those of a .22.

Thanks for the reply knarfeng. The .25 I am referring to is for a highpower air rifle. that colt you have is probably a great gun though uh?
