When sending a folding knife in for service should I send it in its box or just the knife?

I just send in the knife-less for them to keep track of, and since the original boxes have value I don't want to loose them.
This is just how I do it. I do pack the Priority box well so the knife is protected with no movement and plenty of tape on the box.

keep the box. CRK has instructions for returns on their web site, at least they did on the old site.

Just send the knife, no boxes. In my experience when they had the old style boxes, they returned the knife in one of those anyways. Like stated above, the boxes have value, so hang on to them.

Definitely no box, last time I time I send in some knives for tuning they lost one of my boxes! They quickly replaced it, of course, but with a reissued version.
