I have a Small Sebenza quesion is when I sharpen it with the Spyderco Sharpmaker and use the white stones would I use the 30 or 40 degree angle just for touch ups.

Thanks

the problem I have with the sharpmaker is that my small sebbie in S30V is so darn hard to sharpen! 20 minutes with the 40* and it still wont pop hair! Any other blade I have is surgical sharp in less time.

Maybe its just the S30V higher vanadium eh? hard to sharpen!

Sounds like you're not working on the very edge...

It should take a few minutes only... My sebie is as easy to sharpen as a SAK...

Which stones are you using?

MAgic marker the edge first so you can tell where you're actually sharpening. I had the same problem and gave up using the sharpmaker, last time I used a diamond lansky to try and reset the bevel.
