Question about sheath for Hellrazor

I will be recieving a Knob Creek Hellrazor without cbt shortly. Are the dimensions of the blade the same as the original Hellrazor? I'm wondering because I'm about to place an order for a leather sheath. I'm also wondering about if a kydex sheath would fit.

Not sure about the dimensions but what a killer name for a knife! Wish I had thought of that.
 
The Mud Razor, circa 2006, didn't have the CBT and was otherwise the same size as a regular Hell Razor. Assuming the new ones are the same (as they appear to be), a Spec Ops sheath makes a nice off-the-shelf option, and would save you a few dollars compares to a custom leather or kydex sheath.
 
My leather sheath from Chuddy Bear works fine with the KC Hellrazor. Dave has kydex sheaths for the non CBT Hellrazors.
 
They are actually quite a bit different.

This is how it will effect kydex sheathing;

The newer non-CBT are thicker, just slightly so a sheath made with the new knife will allow the older CBT knife to fit in it, but it may be a little looser than some like.

The newer knives also had a swedged version and a non swedged version, which will effect fit.

The older knives could come with either standard or magnum scales, which effect the sheath fit.

I sold my older one so I no longer have it but for me the slightly looser fit of a sheath made with the new knife is just fine.
