Question about small micarta sebenza serrations

Curious about the serrations for the sebenza in the first picture? All other serrated sebenzas I have been able to find look like the 2nd picture. Any info would be helpful

It looks like its been sharpened alot and the smaller serrations are gone on the first one.

Yep, it's pretty clear when you overlay the two photos. You can see the different colored edge underneath is the part that was sharpened off:

Thank you very much. That explains it. I actually really like the looks of the sharpened down one. It's a 2012 model so somebody maybe did it on purpose?

CRK has also changed the style of serrations over the years as well. The serrated sebenzas way back when look different than what they do now. So its possible it was one of the earlier style they were doing. The micarta inlays have been out for some time. If you do a google search, you will see the variances.
