Question about SOG autos or other

I am left handed, does SOG make an automatic knife for a lefty? How about any other mfg? Also, you used to be able to order autos from ebay without worrying about local/federal law. If I read the laws correctly I cannot buy an auto and have it shipped over state lines unless I am law enforcement, military, or have only one arm. What are the chances of being caught and prosecuted for a civilian ordering one over the net and having it shipped to your address? If it would be legal for me to buy one inside my state of residence does anyone know a seller in North Carolina?
Thanks, Bill

I can not answer your shipping questions on the auto or legality in NC.

As for left handed use. I am a lefty also and it works just fine. Sure the button has to be pushed with index finger instead of your thumb but I can still unlock the safety and release the blade very quickly. It may be a slightly different motion that you are used to but with a little practice it comes very easy.

Bill -

Every push-button auto I own is right handed, and it's really not bad pushing the button with your left index finger. Thees knives are at a fantastic price point, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. I can't say I'm wild about the finger grooves, but otherwise I love the overall looks of the knife. It's nice to see someone bring in an automatic and not tack an extra $50 - $100 on the retail price just becuase it's an automatic! Thank you SOG !!
