Question about sog tools?

I have been looking for some time for lightweight, durable tools for my BOB. I was wondering if anyone in the forum had experience with their tools, inparticular the folding saw, hatchet and the shovel? Are they decent tools, or should they be painted Fischer Price Yellow and passed on? I do own a couple of their knives, SEAL PUP, and mini PENTAGON. Both great knives. My apprehension is that their country of origin is China. We seem to import more landfill fodder from that country than I think we should. Any and all replies will be greatly appreciated. Sorry no help here. I do not own any of the (Sog) items your looking to get.

I love Sog knives, and they know knives, but when it comes to other items I get them from a shovel maker, a saw maker, a hatchet maker, etc. get my drift ? It would be like buying a steak at a seafood restaurant.

Saw - Sven Saw
Shovel - GI Tri-fold Shovel is what I have but Sog or anyone else's, they are all probably about the same, would work.
Hatchet - ???? -thats a little more personal preference. I have a cold steel trail hawk it's a tomahawk not a hatchet but I like it a lot. I almost got Sogs tactical tomahawk very similar, still might.
