I called CRK this morning and talked Heather about having the Spa Treatment done on a CRK Shadow IV. She said they would reapply the finish and spruce it all up like new.The knife is in good condition with no chips or scratches on the blade just the that the finish has worn off over the years of carrying it. I am planning on putting it up for trade soon but do yall think if I have Chris Reeve spruce it up that its value would change?

I think it will help it sell a bit faster, but I'm not sure if it would increase the value. The service is available for anyone who owns the knife. That's one of the benifits of CRK. If you post a pic or put this in the CRK forum you will get some answers from people that know a lot more on the subject than I do.

I think it would be like having a car detailed before you put a For Sale sign in the window.

You want anything you sell to show it's best.

Just be sure to disclose that it's been to the spa. When I buy a CRK that's never a deterrent, but I do want to know.

I think it would increase in value but you to have keep in mind, there are some people that would actually use it and prefer to save a few dollars...
