Question about stripping....

I wanna strip my BK9, but I'm wondering if the writing on the blade will still be there or do I need to do something special to preserve it?

If you use PCB etchant from Radio Shack, it will deepen the laser etch.
Without the PCB etchant, the logo should still be there. Maybe just not as pronounced as it is now.

I can still see mine just fine and I didn't etch before stripping.

I can still see mine fairly well after stripping. The logo wasn't that important to me so i didn't worry about it.
