question about swimming strokes

Sidestroke is very similar to the "recovery stroke," except your hands remain mostly underwater the whole time with a lead arm forward and one next to your leg/hip. The kick with fins is the same as the freestyle.
The sidestroke without fins is a combination of both freestyle kick with the breast stroke kick.
