I have a 170mm Silky folding saw on it way. I am puzzled by its description in Amazon. I says to look out for the thin Japanese bladed saws, that the thicker bladed professional is for the US and to report it if it is not the Professional version. I have used thin Japanese pull saws for years and as for as I am concerned there is nothing better. Finding out the Silky Saw 170mm coming from Baryonyx Knife Co might be the thin Japanese blade puts a real smile on my face. Not sure why this is an issue the blades are replaceable. Now that I know about a "thin" Japanese saw blade makes me wonder about getting replacements in the States.
This is the photo from Baryonyx. Let me repeat if this is the thinner blade I am very pleased.

This from the Japanese Silky site.

OK I understand, There are 2 blades available for the Pocketboy, The PocketBoy 170 mm Large Tooth Folding Saw, is the "Professional" blade. The optional blade is the medium tooth 170mm blade, this is what the one from Baryonyx is fitted with, for a small saw such as this a much better choice.
