question about the authenticity of a Kabar

Hi there,

I have a short question about the authenticity of a Kabar. I found the knife for 30 euro online, little used and sharpened by previous owner.

It looks to me like a genuine Kabar full-size USMC with leather washers and a leather sheath. But the seller says the handle is wood. Kraton and leather are most commen by Kabar but…wood?!? Can you confirm it is the real deal so i can score a nice deal. Thanks!!!

I've noticed that a lot of people think the leather is wood. A very common mistake.
