Question about the Buck custom shop.

So I'v read some threads where people said they sent their 110 in to the custom shop to get a different blade steel. So does this mean that I can just buy a 110 or mail in my old one and they can replace the blade with ATS34 or somthing?

If thats the case can I mail in my old one and have them engrave it?

Hmm ok, I emailed Mr. Houser a bit ago. He hasn't replied yet though.

On buck's web site if you order a custom 110 they offer engraving as a option

Depending on what you want engraved, a jewelry store might be a better option.

Look up engraving in your yellow pages.

Pork,,,,, Buck will repair whatever is damaged on your knife. Could very well just give you a new one if it can't be repaired or not cost effective to repair it.

They wont replace the scales if they arent damaged. It will come back all shiny like new, unless it has a lot of dings in the brass.. It will still be buffed up some.
