Does anyone have the model # for the Buck Personal model that had about a 4 1/2" blade length with the similar profile to the Buck Woodsman but it had a more widely sweeping blade profile. I'm looking for one with the cocabola handle that was offered for a short time. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Robow,

The model # for the Personal is 118. If I remember correctly, this knife was named the Personal because it was Hoyt Buck's favorite knife model.

Robow,
John is correct that it gots it name because it was Hoyt Buck's "personal" favorite. I don't recal one being made with a cocobola handle though.

Take care,

Thanks for the info John and Joe. Was it only made available in a Bahama Cherrywood and are there any of those laying around collecting dust? Thanks, Rob

Rob,
The personal can be found in Bahama Cherrywood, stag, or the standard Black phenolic. Unfortunately, we do not have any laying around the plant. Your best bet would be to watch for one at a local gun/knife show or look online. They had a suggessted retail of about $75.00.
Hope this helps,
