First off, I have no ulterior motive by positng my question here. If it's not OK to ask this question here, let me know and I'll delete the post and lock the thread right away. I looked and couldn't find anywhere that said it wasn't OK.

My actual question - Is it OK to post a "want to buy" or "want to trade for" thread in the Busse part of the exchange? I've never had any Busse or kin, and am interested in a few. I figure I'd have better luck in the actual Busse area of the exchange than in the designated "want to..." areas, but I wanted to make sure it was kosher first.

Just checking.

Hey, arskrg

Welcome. I appreciate you asking without specifics. THis is probably best to post questions like this in tech support for future reference. However, since Im sure there are others here that are interested this is my understanding....

You can only post WTB threads in the WTB section. Available to all member levels. However only gold members and above can see all of the threads posted in said section since they are only ones eligible to sell to others. Registered, and basic members can only see their own post and thats all.

Now, if you are willing to sell you can put your item for sale / trade in the Busse exchange, but there has to be a price associated. Must be gold or higher to post.

If you are not willing to sell the item then the trade section is most appropriate. No prices allowed. I think its Open to all member levels.

Also, after re-reading for you specifically it sounds like you dont have a Busse just yet. So, if your wanting to trade it would not be appropriate to list any other knife in Busse exchange other than a Busse. So you would need to post that trade in trade section. THen if your willing to buy...You could also post a WTB ad seperately asking to pay cash.

But only Busse or kin can be posted there for sale, correct? I can't post a non-Busse for sale or trade in the Busse sale forum, I assume.

THat is correct. You can not.

See last sentence above of my previous post. You may have missed and where typing when i edited????
