Question about the CS Voyager?

I was contemplating purchasing a Voyager with the 4 inch blade. Having a
look at it online I was wondering looking at the blade where it meets the pivot
if the blade stays off the zytel handle when closed or does it rest on it?
Does anyone have one they wouldn't mind checking to see if the lockback
bar somehow keeps the blade up off of the inside of the handle?

The blade doesn't contact the inside on my X2 Voyager. I wouldn't worry about it. :)

4" Voyager in the middle under the 4" Gunsite.

 
On the Large Voyager (4" blade) the blade doesn't rest on the spacer when closed, but it can be pushed into the spacer with not much force. The spacer is part of the molded FRN handle so there won't be any damage to the edge. I think this is the case on all of Cold Steels FRN handled models with 4" or longer blades.

On the smaller version the kicker rests directly over the lock bar pivot pin so the blade cannot be pushed into the spacer.
