Does the 75th Anniversary Edition have some of the classic recipes, like the ones for bear, possum, etc? I'm going to grab a copy, but would love to have an edition with many of the classic recipes and notes.

Thanks for the help!

The 75th has some recipes for bear, boar, rabbit, venison, mountain goat, and buffalo. If you're wanting recipes for possum, coon, porcupine, beaver, woodchuck, muskrat, armidillo, and small game skinning instruction I would track down a copy of the 1975 edition. Joy is the best cookbook out there imo, but I especially like the 1975 edition.

you can also for lols get the original as a reprint for about $20 various large online bookstores :)

My dad gave this to me today, it's the JOC cookbook.

Nice, cb! I think I'll get the 2006 printing and grab a 1975 when I find one.

Ethan said the 75th has new recipes for wild game, but yeah, like what's been said, 1975 is the year for "How to cook all kinds of shit......"

:D
