Question about the kershaw rake?

Just got a kershaw rake in the mail and although like the knife i noticed a bit of bronze discoloration at the very tip. Is this a heat treat issue and will it affect the knifes cutting performance? I would love to keep it if it is simply a cosmetic issue but if not...

Thanks for help in advance.

I recieved a ZT0561 with the same bronze discoloration at the tip. I have done lots of cutting and light prying with the tip and it seems to be just fine. Just my .02 cents

Probably due to the knife overheating a tad bit while sharpening. Depending on how intense it is, it really should not make any difference. If it was a heat treat issue the knife wouldn't have made it out of the factory.
