ive noticed alot of these all over the web (SMKW, ebay, etc.). Now i know these are the china made knives, not really an issue with me, but are these left over from when the company was around or did somebody buy the rights to the name? I dont remember reading a definitive post that stated this had happened. Sorry if i missed it:) Seems like too short a time period to have started cranking out knives in all the pattern varieties, etc.
any info would be greatly appreciated:thumbup:
cheers

Off shore, like were?? china

Yeah Camillus like alot of other Manufacturers had lines produced over seas typically for more budget conscious buyers. China and i think Taiwan.
My original post was concerning whether or not the glut of the current Camco was produced prior to Camillus closing. Or are the being churned out by the company that bought the rights to the camillus property, ie marks, names, etc.
Some might ask whats the difference... for me One is a real foreign produced Camillus vs. A foreign made, camillus branded knife produced for someone who is making money off the memory of camillus, i.e. not real
i'd still love to know:)
