Question about the old school Ravens

Were the old school Ravens serialized? The 1997 model? I have a 1999 production model and it is not serialized. The recent post regarding counterfeits has me worried. Have only the Commanders been counterfeited or have other models been faked as well? Also what are some of the things to look for in regards to counterfeit knives? I noticed that my Raven has slotted screws instead of phillips as well. My CQC10 has phillips, and my Mini A100 has phillips. Just wondering some of the give aways. Thanks.

As far as i know, i've not heard of a faked Raven, so i guess you should be safe.

I've never heard of some one counterfeiting a discontinued non collectible Emerson. They are a great EDC enjoy it.

I've only ever seen counterfeit Commanders. If you put up a pic of the knife that would help tremendously.

Thats weird. My cqc 12 has slotted screws as well and I was wondering if its a fake. Im thinking of sending it to emerson to get sharpened and to figure out if its real.
