Question about the RMK 'Denmark Special'

Hello...
I have a question about the blade length for vintage Denmark Special's...when was the 3- 5/8" blade introduced and when was it dis-continued...this one comes in the original sheath, smooth button's..and stamped on the back DS. Not sure about the blade length question, but based on the sheath, the linked knife was made in the early to mid 1990's. Good score if you bought it; Miles has nice stuff...

REB, additional research would indicate that the DS blade length was increased about the time, or soon after, the introduction of the non-catalog GTR Special...

Sheldon thanks..ya done good...i thought the demise of the shorter blade might be tied to the GTR.
